食品科技學院教授、博士生導師,武漢市“黃鶴英才”。農業農村部蜂産品質量安全控制重點實驗室學術委員會委員,中國養蜂學會副理事長、湖北省養蜂學會常務副理事長、武漢市現代都市農業産業技術體系——崗位專家、武漢市蜂産品質量工程控制技術研究中心主任、湖北省校企共建枸杞研發中心主任。湖北省科技廳專家庫高端專家,國家自然科學基金評審專家。主要在“食品功能因子與營養健康”、“蜂産品科學”和“特色農副産品精深加工與綜合利用”領域開展研究,包括:1.基于代謝組學技術與合成生物學思路研究益生菌對蜂産品的轉化與增效機制。2.聚焦我國特色蜂蜜中特征标志物挖掘并評估其健康效應。3.多種組學技術聯用解析膳食多酚與腸道微生物的互作機制,開展膳食多酚對糖脂代謝、動脈粥樣硬化、腸道健康、酒精性肝損傷、尿路感染調控效果與機制研究。4.探讨膳食多酚在食品熱加工過程中的代謝網絡與健康效應。5.特色農産品精深加工産品開發。
